How SEO engagements are priced

Scope is determined by site complexity, market, implementation burden and required senior involvement. I publish engagement types and the logic behind a quote — not three invented packages. I quote after I have seen the site.

Logic

What actually sets the scope

A useful quote names the work. These four things decide the engagement type and the hours. They are not marketing labels.

Scope is determined by site complexity, market, implementation burden and required senior involvement.

  • Site complexity

URL count, templates, rendering path, CMS and how much of the site is actually commercial. A 40-URL brochure site and a faceted catalogue are not the same job.

  • Market

One city, one country, or several languages and SERPs. Competition and the authority gap change the strategy load even when the HTML looks simple.

  • Implementation burden

Whether your team can ship from briefs, or I implement. A clean diagnosis with nobody to change the templates is not a finished engagement.

  • Senior involvement

How much of the work has to be done by me. There is no junior team behind the brand, so capacity is finite and priced as such.

Engagements

Six ways the work is structured

These are commercial shapes, not product SKUs. The first conversation is which of these fits the constraint — then a quote for that scope.

Limits

What you will not find here

This page is meant to qualify the work, not to look complete by inventing a rate card.

  • No Basic, Standard or Premium packages

Those labels invent a product that does not match the site. Two businesses in the same “tier” can need completely different work. I will not sell you a package name.

  • No invented starting fees

Until I publish real minimums I have actually charged, this page will not show rupee or dollar figures. A number I made up to look transparent is still a fiction.

  • No ranking guarantees in the quote

A price is for a scope of work. It is not a purchase of a position in Google. After a diagnostic I will give a realistic range for your situation — not a date I cannot defend.

Questions

Commercial questions

Why are there no prices on this page?

Scope is determined by site complexity, market, implementation burden and required senior involvement. I quote after I have seen the site. Publishing a made-up “starting from” figure would be a package by another name.

How do you decide which engagement applies?

From the constraint. Uncertainty or decline usually starts as a Diagnostic SEO Audit. Direction without a sequence is SEO Strategy / Roadmap. Crawl, indexation, performance or a migration is a Technical SEO Project. Ongoing senior time is Monthly SEO Consulting. Hands-on build is an Implementation Partnership. Large sites, markets or governance are Enterprise / Complex.

Do you implement, or only advise?

Both. I write developer-ready briefs, and on WordPress and similar stacks I can implement directly. Implementation Partnership is the engagement when the bottleneck is shipping, not another document.

How long before I see results?

It depends on the site, the market and how quickly fixes get shipped. Indexation problems can move impressions in weeks; competitive commercial rankings usually take months. I will not put a date on a quote that I cannot defend.

Is a monthly retainer the default?

No. Monthly SEO Consulting is for ongoing senior direction with a stated capacity. Audits, roadmaps and technical projects are scoped and finite. A retainer I cannot justify is a poor fit — I would rather say that than sell one.

Send the site, then we talk about scope

I need the URL and the problem you are trying to solve. I will tell you which engagement applies, or whether search is the wrong lever — before anyone discusses a fee.
